Nestled amidst an eclectic mix of businesses and Victorian buildings close to the centre of Crewe, the Cheshire Sculpture Workshop is a hidden hub for creativity.
Founded by UK artist Paul Dunkerley, his workshop doors will be opened in May for the first time to herald a summer programme of creative courses, open studios and exhibition space, aimed at nurturing artistic involvement within the local community.
Paul’s work has graced exhibitions in the UK, North America, and Europe. He is currently exhibiting in the prestigious 60th Venice Biennale and in 2021 was awarded the Luxembourg Art Prize Certificate of Merit. Paul has been shortlisted by the Visual Arts Association of the UK for ‘Best International Emerging Talent’ and was also featured on BBC's "Home Is Where the Art Is" hosted by Nick Knowles.
